A journeyman horticulturist specializing in an upscale residential landscape construction and outdoor living environment; is required immediately in the Fraser Valley & lower mainland of British Columbia to serve as a softscape site working foreman. You must be a strong and aggressive leader and manager.
You must have an extensive landscape construction background and experience (especially softscape) to assume this working foreman field role in completing our client’s landscape construction projects. You must have extensive BC plant materials knowledge – both cultivated and indigenous.
Your past construction experience and portfolio will include involvement in a vast array of water features, gardens, stonework, residential irrigation, lighting, outdoor carpentry, outdoor structures, drainage, machine operation, excavating, setting bases, establishing grades and effective usage of plant material.
To be eligible for consideration; candidates will have completed a vocational technical training diploma program in horticulture or related trade, and will have an extensive background in all aspects of residential and commercial landscape construction, gardening, garden layout and related landscape construction knowledge.
You must have your own reliable vehicle and travel daily to our construction sites.

Compensation is a basic hourly base wage to be negotiated, which includes an efficiency-based compensatory component, as well as potential for progressive compensation, bonuses, promotions, advancement, share issues, stock options and co-ownership- dependent upon performance and character of the individual.
