Concrete Finisher

We seek an experienced concrete finisher, retaining wall & paving stone installer, who will act as lead hand to one of our forming carpenters and/or landscape construction foremen.

The successful candidate will have successfully completed college and all courses relating to concrete finishing, retaining wall, paving stone installation and will have an extensive landscape construction background in completing new and existing client landscape construction projects. They will also be a strong leader and planner; utilizing experience, knowledge, innovation, expertise and technology; to assist our landscape professionals develop unique, creative, elite landscapes and stunning gardens throughout British Columbia and other high profile geographic areas. This person is required immediately in the Fraser Valley & lower mainland of British Columbia.

You will be very familiar with and bring along all the tools of your trade. You will be totally familiar and comfortable with scaled drawings, blueprints, measurements, grades, base plans, construction drawings, municipal ordinances and bylaws. Your past construction experience and portfolio will include involvement in and completion of a vast array of hardscapes, retaining walls, brick interlocking paving stone, concrete, stonework, outdoor structures, drainage, machine operation, excavating, setting bases and establishing grades.

To be eligible for consideration; candidates will have completed vocational technical training programs in hardscapes and will have an extensive background in all aspects of residential & commercial hard landscape construction, layout and related landscape construction knowledge, in the usage of all types of concrete.

Salary:
Compensation is a basic hourly base wage ranging from $16.00 per hour to $26.00, which includes an efficiency-based compensatory component, as well as potential for progressive compensation, bonuses, promotions, advancement, share issues, stock options and co-ownership- dependent upon performance and character of the individual (or monthly, depending on the position).
