He started in the Outdoor Living, Landscape Construction and Maintenance business in 1973 and today Alan manages some of BC’s most qualified and competent Landscape Professionals. |

Maria works for this Company full time, although she is presently stationed abroad, at our Foreign Affairs Satellite Office in Mexico. Modern technology has her directly connected with our head Offices here in British Columbia via the internet.
Maria is also highly skilled and well versed in preparing marketing and presentation materials for use in different markets and she contributes to Strategic Marketing as a Senior Executive Administrator. At present, she also looks after all Foreign Affairs, including Canadian accounting, on behalf of the Company in all of Latin and South America. She is vital for our Latin American expansion initiatives, and is the key person liaising with all of our Joint Venture partners and other stakeholders in a variety of upcoming Central and South American Projects.
She intends to immigrate permanently to Canada, where she will manage all Office Staff (domestic and foreign) involved with our Foreign Affairs operations, as soon as the legal process is completed. Maria is fully supported by everyone here at the Company and in the community overall, in her relocation endeavours and in return gives the Company her full and undivided commitment. It is essential for her to be here at Head Office to contribute to the Management Team dynamic and in particular, take charge of the various Foreign Projects we are involved with and being considered for. Maria has a strong business management background, as well as, excellent Project and people management skills and she is currently completing her Canadian Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, through extended learning. In the past she has managed as many as 20 Office Staff, with acute organization and proficiency. Maria also has extensive experience with Database Management and is proficient with all related management software programs including: MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Publisher, Intuit Quick Books, and other data management tools, which are essential in procuring, monitoring and managing our Landscape Construction and Outdoor Living Projects. Upon her successful immigration to Canada; Maria will add depth and international experience to our Management Team; helping us to fully optimize and expand our capacity for larger projects in a variety of Countries. Maria will also train our domestic Staff, in Latin American cultural and business norms and ensure that our Canadian Staff are adequately equipped for doing business or providing services abroad. Maria Lamas will grow with us in the long term, and is an essential key member of our management team today and even more so in the future. |
